Burnely Football Club releases statement for the aircraft and offensive banner that flew over The Etihad Stadium on Monday evening.

Burnley Football Club unequivocally denounces the activities of those liable for the airplane and hostile pennant that flew over The Etihad Stadium on Monday evening. 

This was disclosed in a statement on their official website.

The club in a statement  said:
We wish to clarify that those dependable are not welcome at Turf Moor.

This, no way, represent what Burnley Football Club stand for and we will work completely with the specialists to recognize those mindful and issue lifetime bans.

The club has a pleased record of working with all sexes, religions and beliefs through its honor winning Community plan, and stands against prejudice of any sort.

We are completely behind the Premier League's Black Lives Matter activity and, in accordance with all other Premier League games attempted since Project Restart, our players and football staff readily took the knee at kick-off at Manchester City.

We apologize wholeheartedly to the Premier League, to Manchester City and to every one of those assisting with advancing Black Lives Matter.
