CORONAVIRUS: FCTA RESTRICTS CONGREGATION TO A MAXIMUM OF 50 PERSONS


FCTA has released a statement restricting congregation to a maximum of 50 persons as part of measures to amid the out break of CORONAVIRUS in the territory.
This was announced during press briefing by the FCT administration in response to the CORONAVIRUS pandemic.




The statement read:

The FCTA has restricted religious congregation to a maximum of 50 persons as part of measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the territory.This was based on the advice and guidance of public health authorities,the presidential Task Force for the control of the novel CORONAVIRUS,as well as the outcomes of the National Economic council meeting held on Thursday,19th of March 2020.
Religious leaders and worshippers are enjoined to follow all laid down health protocols as stipulated by the relevant authorities for the control of the COVID19 diseases while intensifying prayers for the safety of Nigerians.

The enssence of the restrictions is to make tracking easier for the health authorities ,if any.
All residents are adviced to cooperate.
